Speakers
  • John Maguire is the Chief Product Officer with Sweepr, an Irish start-up focused on transforming how technical care is delivered for the Connected Home. He is a strategy and product management executive who was previously managing director in Accenture’s global Digital Video practice for three years following their acquisition of S3 Group’s Digital TV business that John helped to build.
  • Keith O’Byrne is Director of Solutions at Asavie with deep knowledge of M2M communications in the enterprise world, working with telcos etc. He has over 20 years security and IT experience advising some of the world’s leading organizations on their Infosec posture and network design. Prior to Asavie, he worked with HP, BeTrusted, Horizon, Baltimore Technologies and Scottish Provident.
  • Dr. Derek Molloy is an Associate Professor in the School of Electronic Engineering at DCU. He lectures in Connected Embedded Systems, Object-oriented Programming, and Digital & Analogue Electronics at postgraduate and undergraduate levels. His research interests are in the fields of Embedded Systems, Computer & Machine Vision, Graphics & Visualisation and e-Learning.
