Programme Overview

The Msc in Applied IT Architecture is a 90 credit level 9 programme on the National Qualifications Framework.

it is delivered through a mix of classroom lectures (which are also streamed live online and recorded), online learning and self-study. the course is delivered over one evening per week in term time devoted to lectures plus two Saturdays per semester.

The course is aimed at current and potential software architects to give the skills, theory and recognition they need to develop in their role including Human Dynamics, IT Architecture Design, Quality Attributes, Business and Tech Strategy, IT Environment (inc DevOps), Architecture in Practice, Research Methods and Research Project.

Who should attend

Prospective participants must either be serving in the role of software architect, or be aspiring to move into such a role. All participants must have substantial experience of IT software and systems development and implementation in team and technical leading roles.
